Spring to summer time is filled with the most sunny gorgeous days, and then full rainy weeks. It can be the craziest time of year for us, the most rewarding, or the absolute hardest. Wherever you land in how this spring has found you-- how can we give ourselves a shake out and opt-in for the refreshing option. Refresh your Food: Take a look at seasonal food and refreshing recipes! Berries, cherries, artichokes, avocados, asparagus, zucchini and more! I am not a huge 'greens' style salad person, but the seasonal fruits and veggies available this time of year make for the best pasta and veggie style salads. We will be releasing our seasonal recipe book in June-- with even more easy performer supportive snacks and meals. Refresh your Routine: By this time of year, we either have lost track of our 'new year's resolutions' or we have done them so well that they have fully embedded in our day to day with no variance. Regardless of where you are at on the journey that is 2025, how can you add in another goal or restart the one you began with? No judgement...no frustration...just A FRESH START and a NEW ADVENTURE. I saw my health decline in many ways during the craziness of March and April; this required me to take a second glance at my regular practices and scheduling. So, if you have the chance to have a 'slow morning' -- take it! If you can prioritize one day just for life (not work or productivity) -- take it! If you can opt for the fitness class versus the dance class just to take a moment away from the industry -- take it! (I know that is controversial-- but just try it, and then let me know how much more you valued the next dance class you took or the next fully booked day). How can you make sure your routine is supportive of a human being and not a lifeless machine? Refresh you Brain: Find a new book, podcast, or album and go on a walk, lie in the sun, or take yourself on a date to a local coffee shop or wine bar -- and don't work for at least 1-hr. The weather is perfect. Let the seasonal depression fade away and prioritize valuing the things that make this life. Too often we over-glorify 'exhausting ourselves', bragging about not having free time, not having boundaries, and never having things go right. Its a toxic cycle I constantly have to check-in with myself about. Busyness should not be a competition. So, how can we flip the cards and give ourselves moments to live in genuine gratitude and enjoy this moment. Want suggestions? Check out T.A.P's Spotify & Book Club for updates on what reads and listens we are loving. As we continue into June-- whether you are starting summer contracts, staying in the city to make that money, or traveling the world -- see how you can find those Refresh moments. Love always :) Abbi
