August 13: Yoga for Beginners
New fitness practices can be intimidating and stressful. Join this class to walk through pose by pose to stop and discuss what muscles we are accessing and benefits that can be found.
This is a class open to questions and a nice back and forth between teacher and student to find the best option for different bodies and to find optimum movement practices.
August 15: Yoga for Performers
Join us for a community yoga class based in Vinyasa-styled teaching.
As a performing artist, I have found that it’s easy to get swallowed up and let the industry overtake you. But, if we find moments of gratitude, recovery, and recharge, we can find our grounding and joy. So! We are creating a simple space to just enjoy the journey.
We are constantly giving our energy, experiencing situations of intense vulnerability, and exhausting our bodies. Take a moment to recharge with community, breathe, meditate, and engage your body in a Vinyasa-styled movement flow. As this is a structured theme class for performing artists, we will be using themes from “The Artist Way” by Julia Cameron to lead our practice.
August 15: Dance Fitness Class
Join us for a Community Dance Fitness Class. Enjoy meeting fellow members virtually, enjoying a thorough warm-up, workout, and good jams!
We just want to have some fun!
